Tigers Community Credit Union - Did you know that squirrels have a lot in common with credit unions? Although they are small, their existence serves the interests of the community as a whole.

Squirrels collect and store nuts to have food for the winter. This thrift benefits more than just the squirrel, it also helps the community. By scattering the nuts around and burying them underground, they actually play a supporting role in the survival of that tree and the subsequent renewal of the ecosystem.

The tree's success is based on giving the squirrel seeds, and then the squirrel plants the seeds in return to grow more trees.

Death Of The Tiger

In the fall of 2013, Tigers Credit Union became a sponsor of Mizzou Athletics. To show camaraderie with the athletic program, Tiger was born. He appeared on our billboards, in our commercials and at Mizzou football and basketball games.

In the summer of 2014, the Tiger came to life in the form of plush dolls. We've teamed up with Tiger Pantry to raise money to feed the hungry in our community. As more people got their hands on the tiger squirrel, its social media presence began to grow. So we went further with the launch of our full mascot in 2015.

Tigersquirrel is very active on social media. He has been seen around the world on various business trips and vacations. We encourage everyone to follow him on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and use #Tigersquirrel to share your experiences.
